RHYTHM STRIP Commissioned by Gällivare Kommun

the obvious meeting point at the entrance to the emergency ward at the Gällivare Regional Hospital. "RHYTHM STRIP" is a stylized "blip" on the ECG monitor screen, a pulse, presence of life and the hospital's raison d'être.

Built of concrete and cortex steel, two contrasting materials used to give clarity to the sculpture's structure where materiality is central to its visual impact.
